A hooded neck tube made from performance fabric built for cold adventure. Designed to adapt in changing weather environments, the hood can be worn up or down while keeping the neck tube covering the face. The hood is made to contour the shoulders, blocking wind from reaching the neck. Crafted with minimal bulk around the face and neck to ensure mobility.
Built with helmets in mind, the hood can be worn over the following: Ski & Snowboard Helmet, Bike Helmet, Equestrian Helmet, Climbing Helmet, & a Hard Hat. One size fits most youth. Not recommended for babies. Helmets are not required to functionally wear the hood. You can enjoy the coziness with a beanie or hat to maximize warmth.
Closed capped strings are added with cord locks attached to keep the hood in place against even the strongest winds. A care tag is sewn inside with washing instructions to keep your hood looking brand new.
There are multiple fabric types within this listing, please see the distinction below:
Got our hood a few weeks ago and it is perfect for our Minnesota winters! Took it out for the first time today sledding and it kept my one year old warm and dry!
It’s a little big for her but we scrunched up the extra fabric. It’s great for her to have for years to come!
I bought one for myself last year and I absolutely love it! my daughter wanted one of her own. I got this one for her birthday and she is so happy. She’ll be warm for our MN winters.
My kids love these hoods! It says they’re for kids and not toddler size but I got them for both my kids - 1.5yo and 4yo. It fits great on the 4yo by cinching it up. On my 1.5yo I cinch it and roll the extra material up at the back of the neck and then it fits great without falling over her eyes. The strings are pretty long but it’ll just tuck them into her coat this winter. These are going to fit the kids for years and years!
i love this! i do wish the ears fit a little more up top. but really, i can’t complain. it’s the cutest thing i’ve ever owned and im moving to montana so it will be perfect!
It fits my 5yo and 14 month old well. The strings tighten enough to fit their heads in and see. They both love wearing especially on very cold days. Very soft and well made!
I love this hood! I’m always cold and the wind gets so bad in New England so I’m looking forward to be able to wear this during parka weather. Thank you Wildson! I will definitely be getting another for my husband and my mom! It will make great Christmas presents!
I work in Bears Ears, so finding a warm hood for the cold, dark season that features BEARS EARS was a delightful and easy purchase to make. I wore it during a telescope-viewing event this week and was so, so cozy. I'll happily wear it all winter to any work (or play) event where the temp is even remotely crisp. Thanks, Wildson Mountain Goods!
My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves this hood! Wore it the minute she opened it out of the package. The weather hasn't turned cold enough for any outdoor use yet, but we can't wait for some snow to see how it holds up! Thank you so much for this amazing product!
My daughter is 5 and petite, with a hat underneath this is a perfect fit but it is taking some getting used to for her small head/face. Definitely something that will stand the test of time... until she's maybe like, 10.... IDK. But She'll also love to pick out an adult one as she grows out of this one.
I purchased the black and white kids sherpa hood for my 7 year old. It started for finding something that works for school bus pick up on those chilly mornings. Scarves, gators, her own hood just weren't working for her. Her face was always getting cold and "frozen". So I looked into this product and love them. You can adjust it to any comfort level you like, whether it's just the hood, hood and gator, just gator style. She most of all loves the ears and warmth. Definitely would recommend for little ones always being cold.
On an 80 degree day my kid refused to take this off. It's so cozy & easy to use. I love that I don't have to fuss with a hat & a hood & a scarf, I can just put this on & he has options. LOVE.
My kids love these! (1.5yo and 4yo). We go for a lot of walks with the double stroller and my kids always ask to wear these. The hoods are a little big on the kids but being able to cinch up the hoods means they can easily wear them.
I first purchased. a Sherpa for my daughter and asked about a smaller size for my granddaughters. Voila. These are perfect. My goal now is to add something neon to make both kids more visible when they are on the slope. Two kids, one mom. It is not easy (they are quite. young.)
